Update Your Home
Kitchen: The kitchen is still considered the heart of the home. For a few thousand rupees, you can replace the kitchen sink, upgrade cabinet door handles, update lighting fixtures with new one's. If you can stretch your budget further, you can consider upgrading the cabinet sheets and draws too.
Bathroom: After kitchen, bathrooms are often most important rooms to be considered for an update. They can be improved without a lot of cash. Simple things like replacing mirrors, toilet seats, wash pipes and polishing the taps based on its condition. Steel wall storage units are cheap and having new one's can make a big difference. Spend a few bucks to get a plumber to get rid of any leakages.
Paint: Repainting the house with whites or light colors make it feel more roomier. Try avoiding dark colors as they are selective choice for different people.
Wiring: Spend a few bucks on hiring an electrician to wrap any loose fixtures or hanging wires. Polish or replace switch outlets at home, this gives a well maintained feel and influence the price.
Flooring: If you have a carpet, replace it, you don't need expensive ones . Polish tiles and replace broken one's.
Lighting: Consider replacing one of the rooms lighting with a swanky chandelier. Bright up the room, it makes the room feel spacier. If you have ceiling fans, clean them up.
Doors: Replace knobs and latches for the doors and room cabinets. Try repainting them if possible. A nice, big piece of hardware signals newcomers that this is a solid home. Place a couple of indoor plants in the living room.
