Pricing: Base price for units at Whitehall are over 5800 and it can go higher based on the floor rise and courtyard views. Remember, these are base prices and the landed price can be approximately around 7000. One can understand such high pricing on short supply, but, Sarjapur road has got numerous projects which are priced below 4500. Let's hope people buying units here understand pricing and evaluate other options too.

Neighborhood: Any property on Sarjapur road is being sold like hot cakes, recall the soft launch of Mantri Glades, units were sold in a few weeks without the project being officially launched. Sarjapur road has good access to most of the international schools, satellite IT parks like electronic city, whitefield (via Varthur) and the nearest IT & Shopping hub Outer ring road. Most of the nationalized and private banks are operational on Sarjapur road too. The only option missing was a healthcare center, there is unofficial news that Apollo hospitals is planning to have a healthcare center near Decathlon operational in a couple of years. With most population dominated by IT crowd, the cost of living has slightly gone up in Sarjapur road. There isn't any major news of crimes or robbery in this suburb, which is another reason why people prefer to live here.

Traffic, with many international schools, operational Wipro office and many projects under construction, expect heavy traffic during rush hours. There are plans of road widening which can ease out traffic to some extent.
Whitehall is right on the main road adjacent to Total mall, so expect high noise levels of traffic and dust. Getting in and out of the apartment in a four wheeler can be a pain with the mall traffic and no dividers to drive into the apartment entrance.

Water, Outer ring road and Sarjapur road is dependent only on ground water, with huge launches of residential projects there is scarcity of ground water and most condo's are relying on tanker water. This will have an impact on your monthly maintenance fee.

Bottom line: Whitehall is right on the main road, if you plan to book a unit, look for the last tower as it would reduce the traffic noise levels. If you find the bill of 1.2 to 2 Cr worth for an apartment, you've got your decision.
